Activities

Anti-Bullying Week

Day 1: Elementary students and teachers had an exciting day with different activities to raise awareness about bullying and finding ways of stopping it. Day 1 activities included a presentation by one of our teachers, a Skype call with Mrs. Eliane Souaiby and an Anti-Bullying Parade.

Day 2: Day 2 of Anti-Bullying Week was very busy including sketches performed by Grade 3 students, a song performed by Grade 5 students and a variety of playground games!

Day 3: Grades 1 to 8 enjoyed an Anti-Bullying session with Mrs. Carla Zoghby from Waznat.

Day 4: We wrapped up our week with more playground games, a movie and every student received a certificate for taking part in this special week. The program was highly interactive, utilizing role play, activities and exercises in order to provide students with the necessary tools and skills to deal effectively with bullying. The ultimate objective of this program was to therefore empower students; enabling them to make socially responsible decisions, develop positive social skills and maintain healthy relationships, thus ensuring a happy and successful future. In order for
children to perform to the best of their ability and to fully achieve their academic potential, they must feel safe in school and their wider community.

THANK YOU for everyone who contributed into this project!
